Happy (late) Mother’s Day to all you moms out there! I had a great weekend doing things I love with my kiddos.
The fun started on Saturday morning, and a workout with my oldest. I had jokingly told her that there was a Mother’s Day workout at my gym that she could do with me, and she agreed! I honestly wasn’t sure what to expect, but it was a lot of fun! The workout included things like running, burpees, and kettlebells.
She worked hard though, and we were sweating buckets by the end. Then that poor girl had to go work an 8 hour shift…she was definitely exhausted by the end of the day!
Sunday morning included a coffee trip and church, a quick stop at home for lunch and then we were off to hike!
We went to one of our favorite hiking trails, and spent a long time wondering around.
It took a long time to make our way around, we had to keep stopping to climb on trees, jump off stumps, look at all the bugs, and of course take pictures!
After our hike, we headed to have dinner with family. A backyard bonfire complete with s’mores! Because what else can you do when someone builds a fire?!
By the end of the day, we were all exhausted! But it was a good weekend!
